Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread popularity in the first decade of the 21st century. Swift had a passion for music from an early age. She quickly moved up the ranks, starting by playing roles in the theater for children before performing before an audience of thousands. Swift was eleven years old when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. Following that she started writing her own songs and picked up the guitar. Swift was inspired to compose her own songs by country music artists category, like Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift was thirteen when her parents made the decision to sell their Pennsylvania farm and relocate towards Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her efforts to contacting label labels from the country scene in Nashville.
